A great Michelin-recommended Thai spot in Lower Manhattan that’s worth visiting! The restaurant is very simple and unpretentious, but the food really speaks for itself. We ordered the raw marinated shrimp, papaya salad, tom yum soup, roti, and the minced pork rice. The raw shrimp was incredibly fresh and flavorful, and the minced pork rice was definitely the highlight of the meal.so comforting and packed with flavor! Every dish was nicely presented, although the portions were on the smaller side. The three of us ordered several dishes plus drinks, and it came to around $30 per person, which is a great value for a Michelin-recognized restaurant in NYC. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was casual, and it’s the kind of place I’d happily come back to. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Thai food in Lower Manhattan!

Had a wonderful meal at Mayree! The food was flavorful and beautifully prepared. The Pad Mee Kati was absolutely delicious—rich, creamy, and full of comforting coconut flavor, with a great balance of sweetness and savoriness. The Gai Tom Kamin was another standout. The broth was warm, aromatic, and so soothing. Everything tasted thoughtful and well-executed. Would definitely come back to try more dishes!

Had a really great experience at MayRee Thai Kitchen. The food leans toward Southern Thai flavors with a slightly refined touch. I personally really enjoy this kind of modern take blended with traditional Thai elements. The appetizers were a strong start, especially the fried tofu and fried mushrooms, both perfectly crunchy on the outside while being delicate inside . The roti with curry was a standout and surprisingly flavorful. I highly recommend this dish for anyone who enjoys curry. For the entrees, the Pad Thai wrapped in egg was both visually interesting and satisfying, and the kra prow pork was simple but very well executed. We also tried the Tom Kha Kai soup, which had a great balance of coconut richness and light acidity. The ambiance is cozy and a bit dim in the evening, making it a nice spot for a casual date or dinner with friends. Overall, a solid spot for Thai food in the city, and it is also a nice spot for a causal dare or dinner with friends. Service was smooth and attentive. I would definitely come back!

A lovely experience at this Michelin recommended Thai restaurant. Opened by 4 Thai friends, 3 of whom are from Southern Thailand - and that is the primary style of the food. Spice and salt forward dishes that are robust and complex! Absolutely you must try the Kra Prow - it was fantastic with the egg on top! The pad kee mao and the mango sticky rice were also stand out dishes. Moody, romantic atmosphere was perfect for our 4 year anniversary dinner ❤️ Definitely come check them out!

MayRee Thai Kitchen has been selected for the Michelin Guide three years in a row, and it truly deserves it. We loved the hed tod (fried seafood mushrooms) — crispy and delicious. The bacon hor ham was huge and customizable with chili, onions, and peanuts. The grilled shrimp mango salad was super refreshing with large shrimp and fresh mango. For mains, the kee mao talay (seafood drunken noodles) was mildly spicy and loaded with mussels, squid, and shrimp. The kra prow (ground pork) was so flavorful and addictive — perfect with rice. Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee are both great choices. The coconut ice cream, served in a heart-shaped coconut shell, was rich and fragrant. Beautiful ambiance and great atmosphere. Would definitely come back!
